I Still Dream About You by Fannie Flagg

Moderator -- All

Can a book about meticulously planning a suicide be funny?  Sure--if Fannie Flagg is the author.  This is the story of an aging former Miss Alabama (with a supporting cast of colorful characters) who seems to be humming the theme song from M.A.S.H.--Suicide is Painless--as she sets out to remove her carbon footprint for good.

Food:

Hot dogs w/ sauerkraut, chili, mustard, onions and cheese, tater tots, peeps, jelly beans, mint chocolate chip ice cream and donuts.

"Colorful characters, southern humor and an easy read."---Kim

"Interesting subplot about Edward and Edwina."---Kathy
