The Marriage Plot by Jeffrey Eugenides

Moderator -- Dee Dee

The book has been described as being full of 'intellectual angst' with references to Derrida and Foucault and an introduction to semiotics.  Get past all that and it is the story of three college seniors and the life choices they make in the year following graduation.

Food:
Turkey Croissants, salad, pita chips, humus, cake and ice cream.

"Interesting details on religion and mental illness."--Dee Dee

"Not up to the quality of Middlesex."--Kathy
