Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout

Moderator---Dee Dee

Pulitzer Prize winning 'novel in stories' is how we meet Olive Kitteridge.  This beautifully written set of short stories introduces the reader to a woman who at first seems controlling and outspoken.  As her character unfolds, you see her in a different light and realize she is complicated and reminds you of someone.  That someone could very well be you.

Menu included:
Sandwiches, shrimp, meatballs, chips and donuts.

"To know her is to love her--not."  Judy

"Her life was like an extended olive branch."  Dee Dee
